In this lecture, we’ll examine how the human mind interacts with the world around us. We’ll discuss the classic mind-body problem, how we should understand our experience, and the role of our concepts in affecting what we experience.

Lecture: Bullshit, Politics, and Ignorance
We’ll consider the ideas of ignorance (in distinction to knowledge) and bullshit. We’ll discuss this in different areas, and how ignorance is sometimes mobilised in both a scientific and political context.
Lecture: Knowledge Resistance
We’ll look at how and why we can be resistant to evidence and knowledge. We’ll discuss the degree to which agents are at fault for knowledge resistance and common pitfalls.
